For me, the different buildings inside VIT give the university the vibrant life it currently has.
Ranging from many buildings like the main block in front of the campus gives the university its characteristics,
to the Mahatma Gandhi Block, showing the visual and technological developments the university has reached
till now, shows us the varying levels of development within the university. My favourite places in VIT are
the technology tower, Mahatma Gandhi Block & the main block. The reason why these three are my
favourite building is that it shows the aesthetics & technological advancements VIT has made.
The technology tower, according to me has got a beautiful entrance adorned with palm trees
and fountains and also has got a beautiful amphitheatre as well. When I visited MGB for the first time,
the coolness of the space due to open ventilation and the open classrooms, interested me a lot.
For me, MGB interested me a lot due to its difference in the building’s style in terms of its aesthetics
as well as how the spaces were designed.

Men Hostels (Pathways)
To be refreshed and energised is essential while working for long periods of time, and to
have places to do that, is really nice to have. For me, the pathway through the men’s hostel,
the Basketball Court inside VIT & the open ground near the Nescafe opposite the library gives
me that energetic feeling after working for long periods of time. The pathways of the Men’s
Hostel are laden with life, ranging from trees to green spots, giving in different places to relax and ponder,
which allows enough time for me to refresh myself and get back to my daily chores. The basketball court,
for me, is a place on the campus where I can sit down and talk with my friends, majorly because most
of my classes happen nearby. The café near the library is also one of the places that interest me, majorly
due to the fact that its view is towards the open green ground. Viewing the ground and sitting on the
walkway, while sipping a cup of coffee, gives me immense satisfaction.

Pearl Block
Foodys
Mahatma Gandhi Block
For me, this university is a place of both educational development as well as physical development.
Many spaces within this university have given me chance to better develop myself and have allowed
my strengths to get strengthened. Me being more of a social person was able to develop my
social skills even more in spaces like foodys, and similar sorts of areas nearby in the university.
After COVID, pearl block became one of my main places due to classes happening in the block.
While visiting the building, it made me think about the kind of spaces inside because of its maze-like qualities.
Going through the building made me see a lot of interesting views, which I would not have personally
visited otherwise. This made me interested towards this building. Currently one of my favourite buildings
in the entire university is the architectural block due to how it looks from the outside and how it feels inside.
Unlike the usual classrooms, I feel more like visiting the place due to how the building feels inside.

A block circles
I have been working at VIT for the past three months and I am having a great time here.
Before I was working at a different Dominos and it is comparatively better while working here.
First of all the working hours has been reduced a lot compared to outside where we used to work till 1 am.
Whenever I ride during a delivery I like to stop at certain places like near the A block circles and the grass
areas opposite to K block to enjoy the nature. The working hours along with the greenery and proper roads
makes me less stressed and a lot easy to work. VIT ensures about the safety of their workers where we are
forced to wear our helmets always which is not the same outside. One of my favorite places here is the
small green plot outside the Q block where I spend most of my time distributing the pizzas. I like to interact
a lot with the students and while away my time under the shade. The increase in salary and the comfort which
VIT offers inside makes me never want to leave the place.

I moved to VIT before three months after they finished constructing the R block.
We run the shop with our whole family and we like to serve things to people. Serving people,
had made me see a lot of different types of people, which has made me understand how people
think generally, allowing me to converse and serve them more efficiently. It also had given me unique
experiences and friendships, which otherwise would not have happened, if I was not working inside the
campus. The thing I liked the most about the VIT is the cleanliness and the way how things are arranged.
The way VIT focuses on sustainability impresses me a lot especially the water recycling and conservation.
This has also allowed me to think a lot more in terms of sustainability within the campus, allowing me to
give more focus on how to manage waste produced from the shop. The place I like the most is the ground
at the entrance with its big green lawn inviting me to sit and relax. I also like the fountain at the entrance
and the way it is landscaped.
