I was a farmer and was badly impacted by the current situation of farmers and farming in India. So I wanted to feed people with good food and make sure everyone's hunger was satisfied. As a supervisor, the ideology is to serve good food and to check students are satisfied with the food. I always like to interact with students, ask them personally how the food was and what they like, and improvise the menu. Every day I bring a story of my life & share the importance of farming and food whenever I converse with the students. My favorite place is Q Block mess as it is a space for me to express my passion for serving good food to people.

I am usually assigned to take charge near the new subway, making sure everything works fine especially when VC is heading towards Lilly house or when any other important people cross the area and inform the information to the main gate. During Independence day, when I was assigned to take charge at Kalpana Chawla ground, the flag-hoisting event and other Independence day events impacted me a lot. I always wanted to take charge of that ground after that day. I’m very patriotic, giving security to the students and this place to giving security to the country and its people. I was very satisfied with this job in VIT and the agency help my employees during any hard situation. They got good support, especially during Covid times.

My class usually happens in TT, as the block is near two main cafeterias and the block is near the subway it is very easily accessible to him and foodys is the most entertaining place where I used to spend my day with other batch friends they usually gather in this place. And I like greenos too, he usually attends every event like music, dance & other programs. This is how I used to spend time in VIT. I’m excited to visit MGB and feels like the block looks like a house. Whenever I visit MGB eat dosa in the canteen and spend time in the landscape with my friends, but nowadays the security is now allowing me to visit  MGB.

Being a design student, my classes usually happen at MGB. So I spend most of my day in MGB.         

“MGB feels like a home for me”

Open classrooms and open corridors make this place even more interesting. I feel my design studio is a place where my ideation is leveraged and always wanted to spend time in MGB. Being around MGB spaces gives me a sense of happiness and peace. But nowadays because of other dept students' classes happening here resulting in more crowd, I kind of miss the silence and peaceful environment.As I’m a badminton player, after my classes or in the meantime I used to spend time on the indoor court which makes me feel better. This is my everyday routine which energizes my way of healthy life.

I like the way they are maintaining the surroundings clean, a management plan is well planned on the sites. Me & my family opened the shop recently. I like to visit the main block where the landscaping & fountain feels mesmerizing. I am managing the store with my family members . I like to visit the library, so I will get special permission for the office to step in. I like to read books , this place makes me more special in VIT.

  John Greetan Service Incharge - Q-Block, Mens Hostel Locations They Like in VIT Park near A - Block Q Block Courtyard Hello,  I am John Green, I work as supervisor of a cleaning company which got a contract at VIT. So, I have been working here for 13 years. My favorite place in VIT is the park near - Block men's hostel. There is a lot of seating space and birds are chirping all the time. VIT is well maintained with trees and watered regularly, so it's green throughout the year. So, there are always flocks of birds roaming in VIT. I heard that some birds that migrate come through VIT as it's a patch of Greenland in an arid zone. Another place I like is the courtyard in the Q - Block. It is filled with grass and seating. I like how simple the seating is designed. Even though the block is generally noisy, the courtyard is always silent and calm. It's a good relaxing place that I enjoy.
