“I am 4th year mechanical engineering student who aspires to work with automobiles. I am 21 and I am from Kerala. One of the most memorable moments for me would be the time we spent time at “Fooodys” where we celebrated one of our friend’s birthday. The place itself holds as a place for a lot of joy and celebrations. The place gets a little messed up after all the celebrations but never loses its vibe.
Also I love my hostel campus because of the huge variety of trees found exclusively inside VIT which creates a  pleasant environment of its own helping us to escape the scorching heat of the sun. The campus itself feels like its a different place compared to the Vellore city. My friends and i go around the campus almost everyday since we have very few classes this semester and it feels great and convenient to move around even in a hot sunny day.”

I've been working as a delivery boy for the past four months, and before that, I worked in the snacks department at INOX theater. Due to some salary issues, I left INOX and moved to VIT, and fortunately, I never regretted my decision. The pleasant environment that can only be sensed only on this campus allowed me to work much more productively than outside. I'm currently satisfied with the work I'm doing because the working hours here on the VIT campus are shorter than those and the income is much greater.

"I've been working at VIT for four years, and I personally love the campus because we get to see kids from all backgrounds, which is a wonderful opportunity for them to interact with new people and showcase their abilities." VIT provides a cheerful and safe environment for students so that they may always work with a good mentality without losing interest. My favorite place in VIT is my office, which is located in the q block mess. I spend almost the whole day here. I meet a lot of kids from various places from different backgrounds. I try to give my full contributions to the job and make note of the requirements and needs of the hostel. I am open to being approached by any student here regarding the food and services.

I've been in the field for quite a long time I know when things go wrong. Sometimes it is hard to manage the huge crowd for certain meals, but the staff here and I somehow sort it out as much as we can. After the duty every dayfor we set things ready for the next day and leave to our homes. I take co-ordinate the happenings in the mess every day and make sure everything goes on well.

“VIT always has a special place in my life since it provided me with a sense of independence in my life choices. The hostel Life was probably one of the best moments in my life. All those sleepless nights struggling to complete my assignments and at the same time having fun with my friends always hold a special place in my heart. My personal favorite  spot to hang out in VIT is Foodys and my dept.  

One of the memorable moments was when my friends and I went out for lunch for the last time before going back home. It was a time filled with happiness and nostalgia as we reminisced the old times together and took a trip down memory lane.”

KARTHIKEYAN SECURITY GUARD Locations They Like in VIT Plaza corner(Fountain in front of Main Block) Hello, my name is Karthikeyan, and I've been a security guard at VIT for 13 years. The area in VIT called Plaza Corner, which is on the other side of MGR Block, is my favourite. Although it has been refurbished, I prefer the original fountain's three-horse form. Although it had a very distinctive look, the horses are currently kept inside the girls' dorm. We'll be given our responsibility there when we're punished. It is sentimental. Additionally, I appreciate that area because it is surrounded by many trees.   John Greetan Service Incharge - Q-Block, Mens Hostel Locations They Like in VIT Park near A - Block Q Block Courtyard Hello,  I am John Green, I work as supervisor of a cleaning company which got a contract at VIT. So, I have been working here for 13 years. My favorite place in VIT is the park near - Block men's hostel. There is a lot of seating space and birds are chirping all the time. VIT is well maintained with trees and watered regularly, so it's green throughout the year. So, there are always flocks of birds roaming in VIT. I heard that some birds that migrate come through VIT as it's a patch of Greenland in an arid zone. Another place I like is the courtyard in the Q - Block. It is filled with grass and seating. I like how simple the seating is designed. Even though the block is generally noisy, the courtyard is always silent and calm. It's a good relaxing place that I enjoy.
